This document governs the educational services and website usage provided by Teach Safety Driving School Inc., actively operating under the registered trade name Farsi Driver. These policies apply to all students and visitors accessing our services across our official platforms, including www.TeachSafety.ca, www.TeachSafetyDrivingSchool.com, and www.FarsiDriver.com.


PART 1: TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Enrollment and Student Responsibilities

By registering, the student explicitly acknowledges and agrees to adhere to the following behavioral and operational regulations:

  • Provide fully accurate, verifiable, and complete registration information.

  • Maintain a valid Ontario driver's licence at all times during training.

  • Attend all scheduled practical in-vehicle and theoretical lessons precisely on time.

  • Follow all safety guidelines, commands, and operational parameters outlined by the instructor during in-vehicle training.

  • Maintain operational access to a reliable internet connection, compatible hardware device, and an active, verified personal email address for online learning.

  • Keep personal online learning platform login credentials, passwords, and access protocols fully confidential.

  • Ensure that all online modules, quizzes, assignments, milestone evaluations, and final tests are completed exclusively by the registered student.


2. BDE Course Structure & Ministry Requirements

Our Beginner Driver Education (BDE) program strictly adheres to the Ministry of Transportation Ontario (MTO) frameworks:

  • Instructional Hours: Students must fulfill twenty (20) hours of online/theory instruction, ten (10) hours of independent homework/flex-hour assignments, and ten (10) hours of interactive, practical in-vehicle training.

  • Timeline Restrictions: Under Ontario regulations, all elements of the BDE course must be successfully completed within exactly one (1) year from the official enrollment date.

  • Certification Benefit: Successful completion prior to the one-year deadline renders the student eligible for the 4-month time reduction for the G2 road test.

  • Fees & Materials: The student is responsible for paying the "Driver's licence history" fee at Service Ontario. Additionally, students must have personal access to the official Ontario Driver's Handbook during their course study.

  • Course Sequencing: Online theory modules must be integrated or completed in coordination with scheduled practical sessions to ensure curriculum alignment.


3. Financial Terms, Cancellations, and Refunds

Student Cancellations

Students must deliver a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours advanced explicit notice to cancel or adjust any scheduled in-vehicle session. A fee of $30 per scheduled hour will apply for short-notice cancellations or failure to show up.

Refund Framework

Full course packages are eligible for refund consideration within thirty (30) days of the initial registration event, subject to a non-refundable $50 administration fee. Zero refunds will be honored or issued once online learning platform credentials have been activated or training hours have started.

School Cancellations (Weather/Vehicle)

The school preserves the discretionary right to cancel or reschedule any practical session due to hazardous weather forecasts, unexpected vehicle mechanical concerns, road blockages, or emergency scenarios.


4. Suspension, Termination, and Liability

Suspension & Safety Termination: The school explicitly retains the right to instantly suspend or terminate active training streams if a student creates unsafe operational conditions or violates school policies.

Limitation of Liability: Teach Safety Driving School Inc. is completely indemnified and holds no legal liability for failed road test outcomes, Ministry/government backlog delays, technical infrastructure disruptions, weather interference, or missed personal appointments.


5. Dispute Resolution and Complaints

The school is committed to delivering a professional educational experience. If a student encounters an issue, they may file an official complaint under our Internal Resolution Process. The student must submit their detailed complaint in writing to school management via email at info@teachsafety.ca. The administration will acknowledge the submission within two (2) business days and deliver a comprehensive written resolution within five (5) business days.


PART 2: PRIVACY POLICY & RECORDKEEPING DISCLOSURES

1. Information Collection and Consent

In compliance with privacy protocols and Ontario regulations, the student explicitly consents to the collection, structural processing, secure storage, and regulatory transmission of personal parameters, including full name, date of birth, driver's licence details, and contact information.


2. Purpose of Data Processing

Collected data is strictly utilized for the following operational and legal purposes:

  • Ontario Ministry of Transportation (MTO) compliance, validation audits, and administrative record-keeping.

  • Official BDE course logistical administration, attendance tracking, and grading records.

  • Insurance certification eligibility verification and digital driver education system (DES) submissions.


3. Data Retention

The school is mandated to comply with regulatory retention of progress metrics, operational timestamps, and in-vehicle hours under Ontario driving education frameworks. Data will be retained securely for the period required by provincial law before being safely destroyed.
